What people have said about Dr. K’s other Helping Older Parents Programs
This Helping Older Parents with Early Memory Loss program is new. But Dr. Kernisan has been offering online courses to teach families how to help their aging parents since 2018. Here’s what people like you have said
“My husband and I found Dr. K’s Helping Older Parents coaching to be a LIFELINE in helping his mother through the early stages of undiagnosed cognitive decline. She was angry and defensive about everything anyone tried to do to help her. The guidance we received helped us build a foundation of trust and understanding with her, and enabled us to make changes in her living situation and in her health and financial situation that are so much safer and saner. In spite of her cognitive decline, the ways we have learned to communicate have resulted in Mom feeling and acting happier and stabler than she has in years.”
-Carolyn L.
“Dr. K is one of a kind: knowledgeable, experienced, practical, and reassuring. This is a great opportunity to learn more from her. If you have a parent with memory loss, DON’T MISS IT!”
– Anne Tumlinson
Caregiving Expert & Founder of Daughterhood.org
“After listening to Dr. K’s 4 step approach for talking to resistant parents, my brother and I approached mom about her living situation. Our talk went really well and we now have a better sense of how to help her with her dementia.”
– Anna C.
“I would absolutely recommend Dr. K’s programs to others helping aging parents. I really appreciate having someone as knowledgeable as Dr K willing to provide such helpful information through the calls and the online lessons. I find the coaching calls especially helpful and like that they are recorded.”
